It has been a tumultuous time of the COVID-19 pandemic, quarantine, economic losses and unemployment, black killings and riots. Many LB residents have been wanting to attend church services and spiritual gatherings for comfort and connection, however the quarantine guidelines have closed all church buildings until the Fall.
During these difficult times, good has transpired. A new church in Laguna Beach, Laguna Faith, opened its doors last week; among the quarantine guidelines, it is one of the few churches that is allowed to be opened (must be under 100 people). The large churches – all the other Saddleback campuses, Mariners, and the Catholic churches in Laguna are closed.
Laguna Faith is open to those who consider themselves “spiritual but not religious” and all Christian and Jewish believers. Laguna Faith meets weekly on Sundays at 11 a.m. on the rooftop deck of The Inn at Laguna Beach, overlooking main beach and the ocean.
Where: The Inn at Laguna Beach, rooftop terrace
When: Sundays at 11 a.m.
